Social practices and interactions on social media
– Overview –
As a researcher, I am fascinated by the role of social media in our lives, and my work revolves around examining different aspects of social networking sites. Specifically, I am interested in understanding how people leverage these platforms to connect with others and access tangible or intangible resources, which is known as social capital. In my recent research, I have focused on exploring the ways in which individuals establish their self-presentations on Instagram through multiple social media accounts. By examining the interplay between users’ behaviors and social media design, I hope to uncover insights that can inform the development of more user-centered and effective social media platforms.
